HTA watchdogs transportation and business legislation at the Federal, State, and County levels. We participate in the formulation of safety and economic regulations at all levels. We are involved with public issues to work out concerns before they have to become laws and regulations -- and we inform our members of these developments. |

HTA prints a bi-monthly newsletter with timely information on vital transportation issues. We also have a biannual magazine published by Trade Publications. We organize an annual convention which features new equipment and developments for the transportation industry. |

Safety |

HTA's Safety Department is lauded for its regular programs for drivers and supervisors including; Driver Improvement Program, road evaluation, vehicle inspection, hazardous materials, and forklift training. Discounted prices are available for members.
The department covers transportation issues with seminars addressing; accident investigation, driver recruitment/retention, training trainers, drug and alcohol testing, etc.
The department helps HTA members comply with safety requirements with complimentary file audits, and by having safety compliance forms for sale. |
